Maintenance

Capital Improvements (CI) List

Why Is This Important?
question.png

Beyond scheduled maintenance there's a list of capital improvements that will need to be completed at some point in the future. If we don't have a list, don't know the cost and can't fund the expense when necessary, it could be inconvenient for the tenants, expensive and may strain the parks financial resources and it will surly be stressful for everyone involved!

What Does Success Look Like?

Success here is about looking "big picture" and anticipating those larger and more expensive capital improvements that will need to be done at some point in the future. Anticipating means we have some idea as to the time, process costs of completing the repairs and we've "baked" the item into the budget, so we can get it done without an interruption of service for the tenants or "breaking the bank account" for the park!

Key Success Objectives

  • Maintain a list of capital improvements

  • Prioritize the list as to what what's most likely to need attention, first

  • Talk with a vendor ot two about the job and get a rough idea as to the process, time and cost to complete the repairs

  • Review this list a minimum of once per year with the offsite manager
